About the Role

Pixelcut’s next chapter is turning our AI-powered image editor into a true collaborative visual workspace—think the richness of Figma, but for image editing. You’ll be the team lead who helps ship a web experience that is fast, reliable and delightful at scale.

What you’ll do

• Own the web stack end-to-end - set the technical direction, choose frameworks/libraries, and keep performance & DX top-notch.
• Architect realtime collaboration - work on our sync engine, websocket networking, conflict resolution and optimistic UI.
• Ship features fast – turn Figma files into polished interactions; negotiate scope, manage trade-offs and keep shipping velocity high; drive planning, QA and release flow so we hit weekly production pushes.
• Lead & grow the team – mentor 3-6 engineers, run code reviews, and level up best practices around testing and perf

Your Qualifications

• 7+ yrs building production web apps with TypeScript, React ( Remix)
• Proven record scaling a multi-tenant SaaS application
• In-depth understanding of state-sync and client side
• Comfortable leading a team of 3-6 engineers
